My surprise Australian wedding reception

When we arrived in San Francisco in November of 2012, we were already engaged but decided to elope at City Hall on Christmas Eve. My husband made my bouquet and I ordered our cake from WholeFoods. After we married under the Christmas Tree we went to the Nutcracker Ballet afterwards. It was pretty magical. We had decided to have our reception for our family in Australia as soon as possible. Of course life happened and we weren’t able to make it happen until 2017.

Nevertheless it was a beautiful event with only immediate family at a lovely cafe on the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
